Marketing Fail of the Day- I only wish I were kidding

Okay when I saw this on Matthew Paul Turner's website, I thought it was a joke. I really thought it was totally faked, but no. These people are totally serious. All I can say is this doesn't look like keeping the 'Christ' in Christmas it looks more like putting a little Easter in Christmas. I'm going say it's definitely a movement... towards stupidity. Seriously, would you ever in your life have this in your house?

Hmf. You didn't read my post, did you.

*goes off in a huff to stick a Good Friday icon in a Yule log somewhere*

(Even so, yeah, I think the imagery in that tree there is pretty much ludicrous. Carry on, Emily!) :)

  2. I totally agree with you, well almost. I've always thought of Easter as the most important holiday (and my personal fav) Christmas is cool and has its own significance, but it's no Easter. Good thoughts :)

  3. DaySpring had an ornament like this a few years ago. It was, in turn, based on a 4-fold Christmas card from a previous year. The ornament was OK. The card was cool (I thought).

I'm the kind that likes this, actually. After all, Christmas is nothing without Easter.

  4. I agree Joe. Easter is vital to our faith but a cross in a tree? I mean come on? You would really put that up in your house? If so, you are far braver than I my friend :)
